"who's out there?"

Who's using this site? Is this just for patrons of Mylies resort, or are other freelance LOW anglers and hunters out there? I've been looking for a site with Canadian-side information on it that's not tied to someone trying to sell anything.
So who's out there? Weigh-in!
And who was the guy who said jigs can outfish bottom bouncers! Ha! Your problem is your bouncers weren't heavy enough. Bouncers will outfish jigs on the reefs 3-to-1 because you'll be retying jigs all day when bouncers never snag!
That ought to get things started.

   I'm here.
I'd like to thank Justin for keeping everyone posted on the conditions up there.
Who's up for the opener?
See you on the water.

The only thing I've ever tried to sell is Lake of the Woods and the beauty of the Morson area. I don't post the URL for my site and have only used links to some pictures on a couple of occasions after checking with the host of the board to make sure he was ok with it.

If you want information about the Morson area, then you're in the right place. Seems to be more people from here around than anywhere else, but it's a relatively new board so perhaps if people aren't ignorant, more will visit.

Justin

P.S. My Grandpa uses nothing but lead head jigs and he outfishes every man, woman and child 3, 4, or 5 to 1. Takes about 30 seconds to tie a jig if you know what you'r doing.

Leadheads! If you use the correct weight for the wind ( More wind more weight, less wind less weight ) you can keep your line reasonably straight up and down. It takes constant adjusting to compensate for the depth changes but what else have I got to do until I get a bite. FYI Warthog: I fish Lake of the Woods out of Morson but would also want to exchange info about other areas in Canada. Just got back from an ice out Laker trip to another Ontario lake last weekend for instance. I will be up from the 26th to the 30th at LOW. Some friends will be there for the week of the opener.

I am not a patron of Mylies but frequently check the site to see what's up in the area. I have a cottage near Morson and spend more than my share of time on LOW. I appreciate the info that Mylies posts. I also appreciate the opportunity to be able to fish in an area where fishing is typically soo good and so few boats and people to contend with as on the American side.
Just my 2 cents worth.
