"LARGEMOUTH"
 
   WOULD LIKE SOME INFO ON LARGEMOUTH CLOSE TO MORSON. A LOT
OF BAYS LOOK GOOD. ARE THERE ANY AROUND?

   Slim,
I have fished the area for many years and have never caught a largemouth around Morson. I have heard that some are caught at the very end of Stony Portage although I have not ever seen one myself.

   I've heard there are largemouth around, but you have to travel some distance away from morson to find them. I would also be interested in what area the largemouths are at.

   I have heard of Largemouth comming out of Obobikan Lake. Other than that all I have ever heard of or seen in the Morson area is smallmouth.

   I've heard guys talk about largmouth behind big marsh island.
It looks like largmouth country. never taken one!

   Yes there are large mouth not too far from Morson.. The only thing I have caught them on is live Frogs.. I caught about 4 last year about 5 Min from morson well maybe 6 min..

16.5 foot quicksilver 135hp force.

   I've caught largemouth in Whitefish Bay, in Alfred's Inlet area.

   Caught a couple in turtle lake while throwing small muskie bait.Don't know if there is a good population around or not.
