staying there and it say's its in Sabaskong Bay on a Island and we will be picked up at Nester Fall for the boat trip there to the lodge I have a Hotspot map of the southeast area of LOTW but I don't know where we will be at ? Trying to figure out where I'll be at on the lake so I can figure out where want to fish at without driving along way thanks for any information.

Don't be surprised if your operator suggests you get a lake map that is issued by the Canadian Hydrographic maps. These maps are much superior than the hots spots in terms of detail for fishing and navigating.

You should only need one map (#6214) to cover you for your trip, but it's likely hot spots has the area split so you might need two.

The maps are now more portable and water repellent so the $20 CDN is an investment.

I often tell people this same thing and even suggest they try out the hotspot map the first day or two. It almost never fails that they come in for the good map before they go out very far.

Enjoy your trip.

Lake of the Woods Lodge in Sabaskong Bay is a great place to stay. Plus it is located in one of the best muskie areas in that area. I have fished Sabaskong Bay for 52 years and live on the lake in Nestor Falls from May to Sept. Send me an email and I'll try to give you some help. You don't have to go more than 5 miles to find great muskie fishing. In fact, I've caught 50" fish within site of the lodge. You'll have a great trip.
