October 2002 Fish Pictures

October is one probably the best time to hook into a huge fish on Lake of the Woods.  We've got some great muskie pictures from this past October.  Click the photo to see it in a larger format.

There is nothing like a little family rivalry to keep things interesting out in the boat.  Ronda took an early lead this fall with 38.5 and 46.5 inchers before Randy snuck in under the wire with that 49.5 inch monster the second last weekend in October.  Randy will carry the title of "Undisputed Muskie Master" of the Beaulieu Family this year.  Angie and Aimee have to actually get out of bed in the morning and get in the boat if they hope to crack the 50" mark next year and hold bragging rights.  I hear reading certain kinds of books while you're trolling increases your chances of getting a big fish.  It must be those acticles from Musky Hunter talking about techniques that does the trick.  Right, girls?

Rich Lehman and friends had a pretty good late October weekend this fall as well.  Ted reeled in a 37" Northern and Brian landed a nice 44.5" muskie.  Rich caught a beautiful 39" muskie as well.  Yes, those ARE snowflaked falling down there everyone.  Talk about dedicated or maybe it is medicated, I get confused.  HAHA  Good work, Guys.
