October 2003 Fishing Pictures

Some of the best fishing of the season occurs in October, especially for muskies.  Here are some of the photos I was able to coax the diehard anglers into sending.  Click the picture for a larger version.  Enjoy.

Rich Lehman and friends had another successful late October muskie trip and was kind enough to send us some pictures of their catches.  See what you're missing out there late in the year people?!?! Thank you, Rich.

Once again, the Beaulieu's had a productive October trolling for the big ones.

Randy managed to wrestle these two into the boat by himself.  He also caught a smaller one that day, but had to give it and head for the ER when the 49 incher managed to put a treble hook through his finger.  He still managed to get photos and safely release the fish.  Now that is a diehard fisherman!  Randy wanted me to mention that the 49" was hand-landed and not netted.  He thinks the sores on the side of the fish are from it rubbing up against the rocks.

Randy even managed to get this guy off the dock a couple of times.  Guess who?  Ain't he cute?!?!
