Not bad for one day, huh? Better than working on
the fence and landscaping the yard, wouldn't you say?
32" - Nov 6, 2005
We managed 4 fish in about 3 hours before Dan had to
head for home. Dan's 39" was the biggest, but there was a problem with the
picture so only his 32 incher will get to be posted. I went out after
he went home and managed 3 more muskies, but the biggest was 36.5 inches.
So it was a 5 fish day for me personally and 7 fish in the boat total.
Both were personal bests so I was kind of excited, even though there
were not any real big ones. They turned out to be my last muskies of
the year, but you'll see below that I managed to find a couple more for another
"Rookie."
Some of you may recognize this guy. He's the one
that comes around on the weekends to fix stuff and let me sleep in a few
hours. Yes, he's the big boss. Fishing with my Dad was something
we used to do every summer when I was growing up. There may have been
one summer until Dad and Mom took over the resort in 1992 that Dad and me
didn't spend a great deal of time out fishing. Since then, we may have
gotten out in the boat to fish 4 or 5 times, if that. So it was pretty
cool to get Dad out there for a few hours on November 7 to try for some muskie.
He boated 3 fish and I think he had some fun. HAHAHA The third
of the day was a little 22 incher so we didn't bother with the camera on
that little guy.
Daryl's first two muskies ever.
