Mylie's Place Resort June 2006 Fishing Pictures

The Grober family has another good week of fishing and fun at Mylie's this year.  Wendy sent me those photos of their time out in the boat.  Good thing Dad Mark was along to unhook fish and drive the boat because it doesn't appear that he caught any fish. HAHAHA


Amanda was the LOTW family fishing champ this year.  As you can see, she wasn't going for quality of fish, but used quantity to outfish everyone.  Way to go, Amanda.


Megan (left) with a little walleye she brought in the boat herself.  Emily (right) didn't have much luck fishing this year, but still had a good time out in the boat.  There is always next year to catch fish, Emily.  


The big fish winner for the Grober family was Mom Wendy this year.  She caught this beautiful 29" walleye and released it as well.  Wendy was the co-leader for the largest walleye release for a couple of weeks until a 29.5 incher edged her out.  Still a great fish and great thing to put it back in the water.  Well done.

Week of June 16-23
The fishing Tollander family hit town for their first weeks worth of vacation this summer and had all kinds of action.  Picture on the left is Jake Tallander with Dad, Mark and his two nice bass.  The one on the left measured 20 inches and is the new leader for the largest ball release of the year.  The smallmouth on the right in the photo is in the 17-18 inch range.  The middle photo is Jessican Tollander with a nice bass that was the biggest of the day for their midweek fishing contest.  Way to go, Jess.  Also in on the action is Mom, Julie, seen with another nice smallie.  Jake also landed his very first muskie during the week and we are anxiously awaiting the photo to add to this page for all to see.  Thanks to Mark and family for all the great photos.

Dusty Carlson with the 2 biggest fish of a muskie weekend.  Part of a group that boated 11 fish, with 8 over 40 inches between 5 guys and 2 boats.
