The Keefe Party returned to Lake of
the Woods after a long hiatus and Don Sr (left) landed this nice 25
incher on opening weekend. The Hanson Party from Preston, MN did
well again on their annual trip during opening week. Apologies to
Bob, Lynn and Mert for not getting them into the picture with those
nice walleyes.

The Baumgart Party got off to a nice
start with the first half day of fishing (May 30) with a couple 24+
inch releases and a nice display on the table in the fish house.

Well last year they forgot to take the
camera with them. This year, the Princehouse Group managed to
rememner to bring the camera, but realized the batteries were dead when
they tried to take a picture of the first of 3 walleyes they got over
25 inches on Day 1 of their annual Memorial Weekend outing.
Luckily, Marty's cell phone had a digital camera on it so he was able
to get photos of both his 25 inchers that were caught over the
weekend. There are no larger versions of these pictures available
so clicking on them won't bring anything up. Good fishing, guys.

28.5" (released!) - May 31, 2007
Troy Baumgart's 28.5 incher is the
biggest walleye release for May. The bar has been set pretty high
so we'll see what happens in June. Great fish, Troy!
