38.5" - Labour Day Weekend 2008. First LOTW muskie!
The Cowan Party (Josh, Dick, & the 2 Steves) had another great post Labour Day muskie trip to LOTW.
Here are some photos from their time on the water.
Here are the two prizes of the trip. Steve's 41 inch northern and Dick's 48 inch muskie caught an a
topwater bait he made himeself. The muskie finally jumped the
bait after about 7-8 boatside figures 8's! Josh also bagged a 41"
northern that was released, but not photographed.

James Mull (IA) - 58 inches of walleye in the same spot!
Here are the 2 disctinctly different 29"personal best walleyes caught and released by James in the same spot.
I don't recall the exact details, but I believe it was 20 mins between fish. WOW!! Not a bad afternoon, eh?
Maybe we would have got a big smile from the angler if there had been a third 29 incher? :-)

Mary Lou had a great trip in 2008, catching personal best fish in two species.
They did attempt to release the release the northern, but it didn't make it.
That's some great fishing, Mary Lou. Congrats!

Mark's first trip to LOTW produced what I believe is a personal best walleye. Congrats!
Miller Group Todd Miller

The
Miller Group made their annual trip in September and had some great
fishing again. Here is one photo of crappies that likely went
straight into the frying pan. Todd Miller took some time away
from fighting fires in Las Vegas to come up to Canada again and was
rewarded with this great 27" personal best walleye that he released for
someone else to enjoy in the future. Great release, Todd!

The Grife Party also had another
successful trip in September.
