Many people are anxious to see the new lodge so I was
deciding when to put some of the pictures online. I wanted to wait
for the railing around the deck to be finished and then it was getting close
to the one year anniversary of the storm so I thought I would put some pictures
up to mark the occasion. It is a beautiful facility and we're very
excited to have it. Good things can come out of bad, if you work hard
and keep things in the right perspective. One of the worst moments
we've had at Mylie's turned into one of the best. All the people that
offered to help during and after the storm showed us that just about everyone
we deal with, from guests to neighbours to other business people in the area,
will do whatever it takes to assist someone else when there is a need. We
invite everyone to stop by and see the new building and talk about the events
that led to its being necessary. We even have a video of some footage
shot during the storm last year for those of you who may not have been around
to see the actual storm or the direct aftermath.
